TD05-18Gs are not very good turbos, the wheel is too big for TD05 housing, that means you will have a terrible efficiency area, more lag, peaky power curve, blows hot air at high boost... To the best of my knowledge, 18G compressor wheel is 1.892" inducer, 2.680 exducer. : Ok, sending turbos out again. I know I have asked this before but never got any definitive answers. Being that I am limited to the TD-05 housing since I don't feel like making the TD-06 fit, I would like to know the best wheel sizes for a ported TD-05 housing. I know that there is some "mystery" comp 18g available in Japan but the wheel sizes require a government clearance or something to find out what they are. I'd like to see if anyone could possibly shed some light on this for me so that I can send these out one last time and get everything squared away. I want maximum performance with the 850cc injectors and fully ported heads and #400 cams. I will be running direct port N2O but I am still a bit concerned with lag although I want the max. I can deal with lag when not running the squeeze. If anyone can drop me an email, I would appreciate it.... : Thanks a bunch! You guys rock.
